So proud to be OAFC
We all remember the first time we saw Latics play, the first game we attended and a whole host of other memories, some sweeter than others. However it happened there was a moment we all became hook on our club.
This is a great club to be proud of, and we want to find more ways to give opportunities to people of all ages across the town to become hooked on Oldham Athletic.
The Latics4Life initiative was started by a fan several years ago, creating a fund for Oldham fans to pay for match tickets and season tickets for children under the age of 12. Trust Oldham have taken on the initiative and we are now revamping this fund to not only include junior tickets, but also merchandise including scarves and shirts for juniors and match day/season tickets for older age groups that never get chance to go due to illness or other circumstances.
The fund has been created for donations from fans and businesses across the town. All monies raised will go to the purchasing of tickets and we will be working with the OAFC Community Trust and directly with local groups to ensure each ticket or piece of merchandise creates (or reaffirms) a Latics4Life.
We have been approached by several businesses looking to get involved with this initiative. If you are a business and wish to help us raise funds and the profile of the Latics4Life fund please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
We will be publishing a link soon that will allow you to make a donation directly to the fund online. Over the course of each season we will hold a number of collection games to take cash donations.
Let’s turn the town of Oldham blue once more and create the Latics4Life our town and team so richly deserve.
